Foundational Obedience

Crate & Potty Training Foundations
We introduce puppies to comfortable crate routines, consistent bathroom schedules, and age-appropriate household routines to help families continue training successfully at home.

Leash Skills & Recall Foundations
We introduce puppies to leash walking, handler engagement, recall foundations, and appropriate impulse control to encourage positive habits from an early age.

Early Socialization
Our Westie puppies receive positive, age-appropriate exposure to adults, children, suitable dogs, household sounds, different surfaces, grooming routines, new environments, and everyday activities.

Confidence & Adaptability
Controlled new experiences, enrichment, and positive interactions help puppies develop confidence and learn how to respond appropriately to unfamiliar situations.

Handling & Grooming Tolerance
Westies require regular grooming, so early exposure to brushing, paw handling, nail-care routines, ear checks, and gentle examination helps puppies become more comfortable with grooming and veterinary care.

Continued Skill Development
More advanced training may introduce skills such as place, heel, extended stay, stronger recall, calm settling, doorway manners, car travel, and structured enrichment exercises, depending on the puppy’s age and readiness.
